How to Register an LLC for Travel and Lodging


The State of Shipping and Travel is a popular destination for those who want to register an LLC. This guide will help you understand what’s involved in registering your new business entity with the state, including the steps you’ll need to take and the documents you’ll need.

Find a suitable name

The next step is to find a suitable name. You need to keep it simple, as this will make it easier to remember and identify with your company. Avoid having too many words in your company name. Using acronyms or abbreviations can be useful if they’re easy enough to spell out and read, but try not to use long abbreviations that are hard for people who are not familiar with them (like “LLC”). Try not to use obvious names like “Travel Agency” or “Shipping Company,” since these names might infringe on someone else’s trademark.

Submit your Articles of Organization to the state online
